Regulation D Guidelines
You are limited to six withdrawals and/or transfers from tiered money market accounts each month. Withdrawals and transfers made between your accounts are unlimited when made under the following circumstances:
- In person
- At an ATM
- By mail
- At a Shared Service Center
- By messenger
- By transfer to an HVCU loan in your name
- By phone, fax, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, or email when requesting an HVCU official check made payable to you and mailed to your address of record with HVCU
Monitor Accounts
Monitor your account balances and account activity with text and email notifications through CUAlerts. We offer a specific alert that can be sent when a transaction from your tiered money market account counts towards the free monthly withdrawal/transfer limit of six. A $10 fee will be assessed for each withdrawal or transfer in excess of six.1
Your Money Is Protected
Accounts at HVCU are Federally Insured for up to $250,000. Share insurance coverage is provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an independent government agency that charters, regulates and insures federal credit unions.
