Sponsorship Requests

Hudson Valley Credit Union is deeply vested in our region and proud to support many local charitable organizations. In addition to the HVCU Charitable Foundation, the credit union provides support for local events and programs and provides our staff as leaders for local non-profit organizations. Currently, 50 of our staff volunteer their time at more than 55 local organizations. 

The credit union sponsors events and provides volunteers to Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that impact the quality of life in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Sullivan, Ulster, or Westchester County.

Organization Eligibility

If you organization provides services in the Arts and Sciences, Economic Development, Education, Food, Health, or Housing, HVCU can consider supporting your event. Please note that we do not fund the following:

• National organizations, unless their programs have significant local impact
• Religious or sectarian organizations
• Political organizations, candidates, or lobbying efforts
• Purposes that benefit only one individual (e.g., a fund to send one student overseas for study)

Important Notes for Submitting Requests

• The HVCU Charitable Foundation provides community grants for ongoing programs and activities. Please visit their page for information on the grant process.
• Before making any sponsorship request, please review our checklist of items you will need to apply. Each request must be completed thoroughly in one entry. The system does not allow you to save requests and return to complete later. 
• Sponsorship requests may take 45-60 days for review and are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout the calendar year.
