Berkshire Bank New Member Checklist
Once again, we'd like to welcome you to the Hudson Valley Credit Union family! Below you'll find several tips that can help make banking easier as you continue to transition to the credit union.
- If you are in need of our routing number, please note it is 221979363. You can also find this number at the top of our website, should you need to reference it again in the future.
- Activate and begin using your new HVCU Visa Debit Card or ATM Card, if you have not already done so.
- Destroy your Berkshire Bank Debit or ATM Card, if you have not already done so.
- Add your new HVCU Visa Debit Card to your mobile wallet.
- Update your new Visa Debit Card information with any merchants or subscription services that were previously billing your Berkshire Bank card.
- Update your account number and HVCU's routing number with any third parties that you have direct deposits, automatic withdrawals, etc set up with.
- Use your complimentary supply of HVCU checks for your new personal and/or business checking account(s), and safely destroy or shred your Berkshire Bank checks.
- If applicable, begin making your loan payments to HVCU. Visit our loan payments page for more information.
- Ensure your contact information is up-to-date. If you are already an Internet Banking or Mobile Banking user, you can do so within your Settings.
- Review your final Berkshire Bank statement for activity. Check your mailbox or electronic notifcations (if enrolled in eStatements) for your frst HVCU statement with activity from post conversion through Monday, September 30, 2024.
- Share feedback about your experience transitioning to HVCU via a survey that will be sent to you in October.
