Hudson Valley Credit Union Named A Great Place to Work

Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) has officially been named a Great Place to Work (GPTW). The accomplishment comes one year after Jonathan W. Roberts joined the financial cooperative as President and CEO, and represents the many steps the company has taken to invest in the lives of their employees.

Since opening in 1963, HVCU has become one of the region's largest employers with more than 900 professionals on staff. This year, employees felt more recognized than ever for their continuous hard work and dedication. In the recent GPTW survey, 90% of employees said that HVCU is a great place to work, and more than 90% of staff said they are proud to tell others where they work. 

The credit union believes in improving the quality of life for its staff, members, and communities. With a highly competitive pay and benefits package, HVCU also invests heavily in learning and development opportunities for the staff, as well as employee recognition and engagement events. Staff are encouraged to support their community and more than 50 currently serve on nonprofit boards, volunteer regularly, and present financial literacy seminars.
